NIACC volleyball team falls to Southeastern, 3-0
WEST BURLINGTON - The Lady Trojans dropped a 25-14, 25-22, 26-24 decision to Southeastern Wednesday night in an ICCAC contest.
"SECC played a very scrappy game and we had trouble finding the floor for our offense," NIACC coach Chris Brandt.
NIACC's Sydney Roush recorded 26 assists, two kills and two blocks. Shelby Heston had seven kills and five digs. Brooke Greenwood finished with five kills and seven blocks.
Also for the Lady Trojans, Kyra Marquez had nine digs, Hannah Wagner had six kills and six digs, Amanda Borden had four kills and eight digs and Sammi Hyde had 12 digs.
The Lady Trojans (2-9 overall, 0-3 in the ICCAC) return to action Sunday at home against Ellsworth Community College (2 p.m.) and Dakota County Technical College (3:30 p.m.)
