NIACC falls to Kirkwood, 3-0
MASON CITY - The NIACC volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Kirkwood Wednesday night in the NIACC gym.
Kirkwood won 25-19, 25-11, 25-21 in the Lady Trojans' home opener.
NIACC was led by freshman Hannah Wagner with 10 kills and 10 digs. Sophomore Amanda Borden had six kills and 12 digs. Also, Sydney Roush had 15 assists and seven digs.
NIACC (1-5 overall, 0-2 in the ICCAC) returns to action Friday and Saturday at the NDSCS tournament in Wapheton, N.D. The Lady Trojans play Miles CC and host NDSCS on Friday and take on Bismarck State College and Williston State College on Saturday.
