A look back at the two-year career of NIACC women's cross country runner Sarah Bertry:
1 – Number of national championships. Bertry won the 2021 NJCAA Division II national championship in a time of 18:21. She became the first NIACC women's cross country runner to win an individual national title.
2 – Bertry was a two-time NJCAA Division II and USTFCCCA all-American. Bertry placed second at the 2020 NJCAA Division II national meet.
2 – Number of times that Bertry was the NJCAA Region XI Division II women's runner of the year.

5 – Number of times Bertry was selected as the ICCAC Division II women's runner of the week in 2021. Bertry also won the award 5 times in 2020.
6 – Number of races Bertry won in her NIACC career. Bertry won 3 races in 2020 and 3 in 2021.
11 – Number of times that Bertry placed in the top 4 in her 13 cross country races at NIACC. The only times that Bertry placed outside the top 34 was at the Augustana Twilight meet (16th) and the Roy Griak Invitational Maroon Division II race (29th).
16 – Number of seconds that Bertry claimed her 2021 national title by. Bertry won in 18:21 and Mesa CC's Kate Brockman was a distant second in 18:37.
18:01 – Bertry's personal best 5-kilometer time, which ranks 2nd in school history. Hannah Palmeter owns the school 5K record of 17:51, twice in the 2014 season.
23:29 – Bertry's personal-best 6-kilometer time, which ranks 4th on the school's all-time list.
