NIACC tops Minnesota West, 45-3
WORTHINGTON, Minn. - The No. 2 NIACC wrestling team improved to 5-1 in duals with a convincing 45-3 win over Minnesota West on Thursday night.
NIACC won five of the six contested matches.
The Trojans picked up falls from Clarence Lee-Green at 125 pounds, Tony Mendoza at 149 pounds and Reldon Miller at 184 pounds. Josh Barretta won by major decision at 157 pounds and Christian Minto won by major decision at 165 pounds.
The Trojans picked up forfeit wins from Coby Klettheimer (174), Holton Truax (197) and Brennen Davis (285).
NIACC wraps up its dual meet season on Wednesday at home against Iowa Lakes.
