Kelly paces NIACC men at Dan Huston Invite
WAVERLY - Sophomore Ryan Kelly placed 57th to lead the NIACC men's cross country team Saturday at the Dan Huston Invitational on the Wartburg College campus.
Kelly, who prepped at Newman Catholic, covered the 8-kilometer course in a time of 27 minutes, 20 seconds to lead the Trojans to a 10th place team finish with 223 points.
Also for the Trojans Saturday, freshman Isaac Thompson was 62nd in a personal best time of 27:25, freshman Kevin Carney was 115th in a personal best time of 30:34, freshman Lukas Vance was 117th in a personal best time of 30:42 and freshman Connor Hammitt was 128th in 32:16.
NIACC returns to action Friday at the Indian Hills Invitational in Ottumwa.
