NIACC rolls to 11-1 win in season finale

MASON CITY - The NIACC men's soccer team cruised to an 11-1 victory over Scott CC Saturday in the season finale for both teams.
NIACC (5-6-1 overall, 2-6-1 in the ICCAC) led 6-0 at the half and outscored Scott CC 5-0 in the second half to roll to the ICCAC victory.
The 11 goals is the most since the Trojans topped Hawkeye CC 12-1 in the 2017 season and the 11 goals is the 10th most in a match in NIACC men's soccer history.
NIACC received five goals from Aleksander Trujic. The Trojans also received three goals from Alex Scarano.
Also scoring for NIACC were Vinicius Oliveira, Marcus Sousa Santos and Layton Wheeler.
