MASON CITY - Jemali Zarnadze scored a goal at the 87 minute, 47 second mark to give Iowa Central a narrow 4-3 victory over NIACC in an ICCAC men's soccer contest Tuesday.
The match was tied 2-2 at the half and Iowa Central took a 3-2 lead 16 seconds into the second half on a goal from Christian Koffi. NIACC tied the contest at the 62:09 mark of the second half on a goal from Connor Lambert with an assist from Gian Lucca.
Both of NIACC's first-half goals came from Hayden Bunch on assists from Luke McMahon.
NIACC returns to action Thursday in an ICCAC match at Iowa Western. Match time in Council Bluffs is slated for 4 p.m.
