NIACC's Andrews is ICCAC player of week
MASON CITY - NIACC sophomore forward Bradley Andrews was selected as the ICCAC Division II men's basketball player of the week for the week of Jan. 24-30.
Andrews, who is from Charles City, scored 57 points in four games as the Trojans went 3-1. Andrews matched his career high with 25 points, including five 3-point goals, in a 90-60 win over the Luther College Junior Varsity on Jan. 24.
Andrews scored 19 points, including six 3-point goals, in a 74-65 victory over Iowa Central on Jan. 26. Andrews also collected 17 rebounds in the four-game stretch.
For his career, Andrews is 63 of 155 from 3-point range (40.6 percent). The 63 career 3-point goals ranks 36th on NIACC's career 3-point list.
NIACC's Myles Tucker was selected as the ICCAC player of the week for the week of Nov. 29-Dec. 5.
NIACC (16-6 overall, 5-4 in the ICCAC) returns to action Wednesday at home against Iowa Western in an ICCAC contest. Game time is slated for 5:30 p.m.
