The victory by NIACC was the first road ICCAC win since the Trojans topped Ellsworth 74-71 on March 31, 2021. The Trojans also topped Northeast CC 70-67 on the road last season on March 4, 2021.
Saturday's win was the first time NIACC has won its ICCAC opener since topping Southwestern 98-68 on Dec. 4, 2019.

Myles Tucker – Recorded a career-high 28 points in Saturday's victory over Northeast CC … Was 8 of 10 from 3-point range … The 8 3-point goals tied a school single-game record … Mike Eckenrod made 8 3s in the 87-88 season against Waldorf and James Harris made 8 3s on Jan. 22, 2020 against Iowa Central.
Noah Rigatuso – Recorded a double/double with 17 points/12 rebounds (both season highs) … It was Rigatuso's second career double/double … He also recorded a double/double with 10 points/12 rebounds against Iowa Western on Feb. 6, 2021.
Jacques Kelly – Scored 15 points against Northeast CC … It was the fifth time this season that Kelly has reached double figures.
Jeffrey Skogen – Recorded a career-high 6 steals against Northeast CC … The 6 steals was the most in a game for a NIACC player since Wendell Matthews recorded 5 steals against the Simpson College JV on Jan. 23, 2020.
