MASON CITY - The No. 18 Southeastern CC baseball team swept an ICCAC doubleheader from NIACC on Saturday at Roosevelt Field.
Southeastern (25-8 overall, 8-2 in the ICCAC) won the first game 7-4 and took the second game 15-3 in seven innings.
NIACC fell to 20-13 overall and 5-5 in the ICCAC.
In the first game, Southeastern jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning and never trailed. The Blackhawks also scored three runs in the third inning and pushed across a single run in the fourth inning.
In the second game, Southeastern pounded out 17 hits to score its 15 runs. The Blackhawks hit five home runs, including two from leadoff hitter Chase Wood and a grand slam from Zeb Adreon.
NIACC's Connor Enochs was 5 for 8 in the doubleheader moving his career hit total to 99. Encochs was 2 for 4 in the opener and 3-4 in the second game.
The two teams wrap up the four-game series Sunday in a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
