
NIACC women place 4th at Trent Smith Invite
MASON CITY - The NIACC women's cross country team placed fourth at the third annual Trent Smith Invitational with 133 points on Friday on the NIACC campus.
Minnesota State was the team champion with 22 points and Concordia University-St. Paul was second with 52 points. Buena Vista placed third with 112 points.
NIACC was led by sophomore Emma Davison, who placed sixth in a time of 19 minutes, 30 seconds on the five-kilometer course. Minnesota State's Allyssa Reeves was the individual champion in a time of 18:48.
Other counting scores for the Lady Trojans were Whitney Martin (26th in 21:01), Cecelia Hemsworth (37th in 21:35), Miricle Corbo (42nd in 21:44) and Alana Wickering (45th in 21:50). Also, Ashley Kriener was 51st in 22:23.
