NIACC places 15th in 4x800 at nationals
LUBBOCK, Texas - NIACC placed 15th in the 4x800-meter relay Saturday at the 2025 NJCAA women's Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Sports Performance Center on the campus of Texas Tech University.
The Trojans earned their 15th place finish in a season best time of 11 minutes, 9.44 seconds. The Trojans ran Bridget Canton, Cloey Usher, Emily Usher and Olivia Spurling.
NIACC placed 18th in the 4x400-meter relay in a season best time of 4:14.11. The Trojans ran Gift Gonpue, Suzanne Guedeyi, Tenisha Herbert and Taja Conley.
NIACC sophomore Kit Byars was 22nd in the weight throw with a throw of 10.80 meters (35 feet, 5 1/4 inches).
