NIACC's Conley places 3rd in 60 hurdles
MOUNT VERNON - NIACC's Taja Conley placed third in the 60-meter hurdles Saturday at the Cornell College Hilltop Invitational.
Conley, a sophomore, was third in a time of 9.94 seconds, which was just off her career best time of 9.92.
Also for the Trojans, Gift Gonpue was fourth in the long jump with a leap of 4.71 meters (15-5 1/2).
The Trojans' Suzanne Guedeyi was fifth in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:06.38. Emily Usher was eighth in the 400 (1:09.93).
NIACC returns to action Feb. 1 at the Minnesota State-Mankato's Mark Schuck Open.
