NIACC's DMR team places 3rd
STORM LAKE - The NIACC women's distance medley relay team placed third Friday at the NJCAA Region 11 championships on the Buena Vista campus.
The foursome of Cloey Usher, Emily Usher, Bridget Canton and Olivia Spurling earned its third-place finish in a time of 14 minutes, 13.66 seconds.
Also for the Trojans, Gift Gonpue was seventh in the long jump with a leap of 4.85 meters.
The Trojans' Tenisha Herbert was eighth in the 200 in a time of 27.49.
