NIACC's Cornick selected first-team all-American by NFCA
MASON CITY - NIACC freshman outfielder Kendall Cornick has been selected as a NJCAA Division II first-team all-American by the National Faspitch Coaches Association.
Cornick was one of six players from the ICCAC selected to the 16-player first-team.
Other first-team NFCA all-Americans from the ICCAC were DMACC's Kenzie Ihle and Britney Roby and Kirkwood's Maddie Hansen, Gabi Carter and Taylor Nearad.
Cornick was also selected as a NJCAA Division II second-team all-American by Fast Pitch News on June 3.
Cornick hit .561 with six doubles and three triples. She also stole 65 bases and scored 55 runs.
