No. 2 Kirkwood nips No. 13 NIACC, 70-68
MASON CITY - Tayana Wilson connected on a free-throw line jump shot with 1.5 seconds remaining to lift No. 2 Kirkwood to a 70-68 victory over No. 13 NIACC in an ICCAC women's basketball contest Wednesday night in the NIACC gym.

Kirkwood called timeout after the Laabs' triple and were able to advance the ball to half court and remained perfect in conference play with Wilson's game-winning jump shot.
Kirkwood (23-3 overall) improved to 9-0 in league play and won for the 13th straight time. The Eagles also snapped NIACC's 15-game home-court winning streak.
