NIACC women set to play at Ellsworth
IOWA FALLS - The NIACC women's basketball team returns to action Wednesday in a ICCAC game at Ellsworth.
Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
No. 13 NIACC (20-6 overall, 7-3 in the ICCAC) split a pair of games last week. The Lady Trojans dropped a 70-68 decision to No. 2 Kirkwood and rolled to a 93-73 win over Iowa Central.
Against Kirkwood, Mikayla Homola led the Lady Trojans with 13 points. Taylor Laabs scored 12 points and Morgan Frank scored 11 points.
Against Iowa Central, UU Longs led the way with 18 points and Adria Stewart scored 15 points. Laabs scored 14 and Homola scored 12.
NIACC topped Ellsworth (8-17, 2-8) 89-46 on Jan. 24 in the NIACC gym.
