NIACC men play at Southeastern tonight
WEST BURLINGTON - The NIACC men's basketball team returns to action tonight in a nonconference game at Southeastern.
Game time is set for 7 p.m.
NIACC (7-3 overall) is coming off a 97-68 win over Associate Free Lutheran Bible School on Monday. Freshman Nick Wurm scored a career-high 26 points and freshman Tim Trousell scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Trojans.
NIACC received votes in this week's NJCAA Division II poll. It is the first time the Trojans have received votes since the 2013-14 season. The Trojans were ranked 16th in the Dec. 3, 2013 poll and received votes in the Dec. 10, 2013 poll.
Southeastern (6-5 overall) is coming off a 94-84 win over Little Priest Tribal College on Monday. The Blackhawks also beat Iowa Lakes 82-79 on Saturday.
Last season, Southeastern topped NIACC 81-67.
