NIACC men begin conference play against DMACC
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team begins ICCAC play Saturday at home against rival DMACC.
Game time is set for 3 p.m. in the NIACC gym.
NIACC (11-5 overall) topped DCTC 64-63 on Wednesday. Freshman Brad Rathjen scored the game-winning basket for the Trojans with about 10 seconds remaining.
Sophomore Tim Trousell averages 13.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game to lead the Trojans. Sophomore Matt Baker leads the Trojans with 29 3-point goals, Ben Moss leads with 61 assists and 28 steals.
NIACC and DMACC split their season series last season. DMACC won the first meeting 76-56 and NIACC won the second game 65-61.
