
NIACC women compete at Wartburg Select
WAVERLY - The NIACC women's track and field team competed in the Wartburg College Select meet Saturday.
NIACC freshman Taja Conley placed ninth in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1 minute, 9.61 seconds. Conley also ran in the 100 hurdles prelims clocking a 17.11 and did not qualify for the finals.
NIACC's Lilly Radcliffe was 10th in the 400 hurdles (1:11.00).
NIACC' Chloe Usher placed 10th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 14:47.59.
NIACC's Emma Logeman was 22nd in the discus with a toss of 77 feet, 6 inches (23.62 meters). She was also 26th in the shot put with a throw of 25-4 1/2 (7.73 meters).
On Friday, NIACC's Kit Byars was 25th in the hammer throw with a toss of 79-9 (24.32 meters).
