NIACC's Davison sets school mark in 1,000
MANKATO, Minn. - NIACC sophomore Emma Davison set a school record in 1,000-meter run at Minnesota State's Ted Nelson Classic on Saturday.
Davison placed third in the 1,000 in a time of 3 minutes, 6.43 seconds. She broke the old mark of 3:07.05 by Anna Buenneke in 2011 at the Augustana Open.
Also in the 1,000 for the NIACC women, Caitlyn Regan was sixth in 3:10.59, Alana Wickering was 18th in 3:38.89 and Laura Kern was 19th in 3:49.51.
In the 800, NIACC's Cecelia Hemsworth was 11th in 2:31.18 and Whitney Martin was 12th in 2:31.95.
