MASON CITY - The NIACC men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Iowa Central in a non-conference contest Saturday afternoon on the NIACC campus.
NIACC (1-3 overall) led 1-0 at the half. The Trojans received a goal from Mohammad Sanyang on an assist from Hugo Garcia-Rosado Duran at the 25:09 mark of the first half.
Iowa Central scored two goals in the second half to claim the non-league victory. Giovani Kachan and Kota Yoshida scored the second-half goals for the Tritons.
NIACC returns to action Tuesday at Iowa Lakes in a non-league match. The match, in Spencer, is slated to start at 1 p.m.
