Koob shoots 77 to lead Trojans at Iowa Central Invite
FORT DODGE - Sophomore Devin Koob fired a season-low 77 to place second in the individual medalist competition at the Iowa Central Invitational on Monday at the Fort Dodge Country Club.
NIACC placed second out of three teams with a 327. DMACC was first with a 321 and Iowa Central was third with a 328.
Koob's 77 was one off his career best of 76 that he shot in the fall of 2016.
Also for the Trojans, Ben Boerjan shot a 79, Josh Schaefer shot a 83 and Anthony Emaneul and Mitchell Scholl both shot 88s. NIACC's Jordan Voves shot an 80 playing as an individual.
NIACC returns to action Friday and Saturday at the NJCAA Region XI tournament at the Lake Panorama Golf Course in Panora.
