NIACC to host Ryder Cup format tourney on Sunday
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's golf team will host a four-team Ryder Cup format tournament Sunday at the Mason City Country Club.
The tournament is set to begin at 9 a.m.
In the morning session, NIACC faces Iowa Central and DMACC takes on Iowa Lakes.
In the afternoon session, the winners meet in the championship round and the losers will meet for third-place.
The format for the tournament is six holes alternate shot, six holes best shot and six holes better ball. There will be a total of four matches in each matchup.
