NIACC's Heath earns first-team all-region honor
MASON CITY - The NIACC women's soccer team had four players selected to the all-NJCAA Region XI teams released on Tuesday.
NIACC freshman striker Zjhayda Heath was a first-team selection and freshman striker Sophia Gebl was a second-team pick.
Heath led the Lady Trojans with seven goals and one assist. Gebl was next in line for the Lady Trojans with six goals.
Also for the Lady Trojans, sophomore Tarran Williams and freshman Merle Flasskamp were honorable mention selections.
Williams scored three goals with four assists and Flasskamp scored two goals with five assists
