
Aguilar, Church, Carlos pick up wins in loss to RCTC
MASON CITY - The No. 20 NIACC wrestling team dropped a 29-13 decision to RCTC in a non-conference dual meet Wednesday night in the NIACC recreation center.
NIACC, which competes in the NJCAA North Central District Tournament on Sunday in Iowa Falls, won three of the nine contested matches in its final dual meet of the season.
Winning matches for the Trojans were Cruz Aguilar (125), Isaac Church (141) and Ein Carlos (184).
At 125 pounds, Aguilar picked up a 23-9 major decision over Rocco Visci to improve his record to 13-3.
At 141 pounds, Church pinned Nik Petsinger in 1 minute, 24 seconds. Church improved his record to 15-5 with five falls.
At 184 pounds, Carlos (3-3) topped Anthony Tuttle, 9-3.
