MASON CITY - The NIACC men's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision to No. 4 (NJCAA Division II) Iowa Lakes Wednesday afternoon on the NIACC campus.
Iowa Lakes (5-1) led 1-0 at the half. NIACC tied the match early in the second half on a goal from Carlos Cuellar.
The Lakers added two more goals later in the second half to claim the non-league victory.
NIACC (1-2) returns to ation Saturday at Marshalltown CC in a non-league match, which is slated to start at 3;30 p.m.
