MASON CITY - The NIACC men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Hawkeye CC Wednesday afternoon on the NIACC campus in a non-conference contest.
Hawkeye CC led 1-0 at the half and added an insurance goal in the second half.
The Redtails received their first-half goal from Isaac Semini and their second-half goal from Shimon Lofemba.
NIACC (1-1) had six shots on goal against the Redtails.
NIACC faces Hawkeye CC in an ICCAC contest on Sept. 27 in Waterloo.
The Trojans return to action Sept. 6 at home against Iowa Lakes in another non-conference match, which is slated to start at 3:30 p.m.
