NIACC falls to Black Hawk College-Moline, 81-76
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team dropped a 81-76 decision to Black Hawk College-Moline Friday night at the Konigsmark Klassic.
The game was tied 39-39 at the half but the Braves outscored the Trojans 42-37 in the second 20 minutes.
Camren Edwards led the Braves with 21 points. Former NIACC player Cortaviaus Seales and Mike Lowrey both scored 15 points for the Braves.
NIACC (0-2 overall) was led by sophomore Myles Tucker with 16 points. Freshman Noah Compan scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
Also for the Trojans, Jeremiah Babers scored 11 points and Chett Helming scored 10 points. Jacques Kelly scored eight points and collected 11 rebounds.
NIACC returns to action Saturday at home against Minnesota North College-Itasca at the Konigsmark Klassic. Game time is slated for 5 p.m.
