NIACC women set to compete at NJCAA women's wrestling invitational
COUNCIL BLUFFS - NIACC is set to compete at the NJCAA women's wrestling invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Mid-America Center.
NIACC will have 10 wrestlers competing at the 2-day invitational tournament.
The women's invitational tournament begins at 9 a.m. Friday. Women will wrestle up to the championship semifinals. Women's consolation round wrestlers will compete up to the consolation semifinals.
Competing for the Trojans, who are in their second season of wrestling, will be Sara Arrojo (116), Chloe Williamson (123), Jenesis Sanders (123), Maria Sanfiel (130), Nyla Rocke (130), Essie McCleish (136), Gabriella Segre (143), Carly Klein (155), Alyssa Nazario (191) and Destinee Thomas (235).
