NIACC women falls to Ellsworth, 34-12
MASON CITY - The NIACC women's wrestling team picked up three wins in Wednesday's dual meet loss to Ellsworth Wednesday night in the NIACC recreation center.
Ellsworth won the ICCAC dual meet, 34-12.
NIACC picked up wins from Gift Gonpue (123), Gabriella Segre (143) and Alyssa Nazario (235).
Gonpue (3-5) picked up a 10-0 technifal fall over Kennedi Judy. Segre (2-3) took a 9-4 decision from Ryanne Dunn and Nazario (8-1) pinned Gracie Orr in 4 minutes, 15 seconds.
Nazario, who is 2-0 in ICCAC dual meets, picked up her seventh pin in her eight wins this season. Segre also improved to 2-0 in ICCAC dual meets.
NIACC returns to action Nov. 29 in a ICCAC dual meet at Iowa Western.
