CEDAR RAPIDS - The NIACC women's basketball team dropped a 90-81 decision to top-ranked Kirkwood in the NJCAA Region XI title game on Saturday.
Tournament MVP Simone Goods led Kirkwood (33-0) with 18 points and seven rebounds.
NIACC (19-13) was led by all-tournament selection Morgan Cuffe with 20 points and four rebounds.
Also for the Lady Trojans, UU Longs scored nine points, Adria Stewart scored seven points and Khalilah Holloway scored seven points.
Stewart also made the all-tournament team for the Lady Trojans.
