NIACC softball team ranked 19th
MASON CITY - The NIACC softball team is ranked No. 19 in the first NJCAA Divsion II poll released Tuesday.
NIACC (5-3 overall) returns to action Friday at Southeast CC. The doubleheader in Beatrice, Neb. is slated to start at 2 p.m.
DMACC (7-0) is ranked No. 2. Other ICCAC teams ranked are No. 5 Kirkwood and No. 12 Iowa Central.
The last time a NIACC softball team was ranked was in the March 16, 2016 poll when the Lady Trojans checked in at No. 15.
