
NIACC women set to run at Twilight meet in South Dakota
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The NIACC men's and women's cross country teams return to action Friday night at the eighth annual Augustana University Twilight meet at Yankton Trail Park.
The women's college 5-kilometer race starts at 8:30 p.m. The men's college four-mile race is slated to begin at 9 p.m.
The NIACC women placed third at the NJCAA Region XI time trial on Aug. 25 in Davenport with 58 points.
Freshman Emma Davison led the Lady Trojans with a seventh-place finish in 22 minutes, 34 seconds in the five-kilometer race.
Other counting scores for the Lady Trojans were Julia Dunlavey (11th in 23:06), Cecelia Hemswoth (13th in 23:48), Caitlyn Regan (15th in 23:55) and Alana Wickering (20th in 24:42).
Also for NIACC, Ivy Rollene was 26th in 27:00, Laney Wilson was 30th (29:04) and Miricle Corbo was 31st (29:05).
At the 2017 Twilight meet, the Lady Trojans placed 25th in the college division with 729 points. Dunlavey led the Lady Trojans with a 165th place finish in a time of 20:56 in the 5K race.
