NIACC's Schmidt places 18th at Loras Invitational
DUBUQUE - NIACC sophomore Kendra Schmidt placed 18th at the Loras College Invitational on Friday at the Dubuque Soccer Complex.
Schmidt covered the 6-kilomter course in a personal-best 6K time of 25:40. Schmidt's previous best 6K time was a 27:09 at the 2016 Roy Griak Invitational in September.
Also for the Lady Trojans on Friday, freshman Amy Fullerton was 30th in a personal-best 26:14, freshman Keisha Gonzague was 37th in 26:58 and freshman Cassy Bonsall was 53rd in 28:13.
The Lady Trojans return to action Oct. 29 at the NJCAA Region XI meet on the NIACC campus in Mason City.
