MASON CITY - The NIACC women's soccer team was unable to push across a goal as the Lady Trojans fell 1-0 to Iowa Central in ICCAC action at the NIACC pitch.
Goalkeeper Kathryn Flaherty did her part in keeping the Lady Trojans in the match, pitching a shutout until Iowa Central scored the lone goal with 7 minutes, 1 second remaining in the second half. NIACC couldn't come up with the equalizer, failing to score for the second consecutive match.
NIACC returns to action on Oct. 4 in Des Moines against the Grand View University Junior Varsity.
