Droll leads NIACC women at Griak Invite
MINNEAPOLIS - Freshman Juliana Droll led the NIACC women's cross country team Friday at the University of Minnesota's Roy Griak Invitational.
Droll, a freshman from Mason City, placed 260th in a time of 27 minutes, 10 seconds on the 6-kilometer course at the Les Bolstad Golf Course in the Suzy Wilson Maroon Race (Division II and III).
NIACC's Taja Conley was 317th in a time of 28:28, Sarah Lunning was 342nd in 29:19, Hannah Lunning was 357th in 30:10, Cloey Usher was 368th in 30:44 and RaeLynn Nash was 382nd in 32:28.
NIACC placed 36th with 1,079 points. Augustana (S.D) was the team champion with 80 points.
NIACC returns to action Oct. 13 at the Indian Hills Invitational in Ottumwa.
