
NIACC men set to compete at national indoor meet
LUBBOCK, Texas - The NIACC men's track and field team will compete in six events at the NJCAA national indoor track and field meet on Friday and Saturday at the Texas Tech Sports Performance Center.
NIACC freshman Brian Jacques will run in the 5,000-meter run on Friday and will also qualified in the mile run on Saturday.
Also on Friday, the Trojans will run in the distance medley relay, Blake Keller will run the 5,000, Brody Goos will run the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles and Akahnni Delgado will run in the 600-meter prelims.
On Saturday, the Trojans will run in the 4x800-meter relay.
NIACC MEN'S SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Friday
1:50 p.m. - Distance medley relay (Possible runners: Logan Dalbeck, Prince Boduo, Daniel Hennigar, Abdiaziz Wako, Ethan Klasi).
3:15 p.m. - 5,000-meter run (Brian Jacques, Blake Keller)
4:05 p.m. - 60-meter hurdles prelims (Brody Goos)
4:35 p.m. - 600-meter run prelims (Akahnni Delgado)
Saturday
12:45 p.m. - 4x800-meter relay (Possible runners: Wako, Keller, Hennigar, Delgado, Dalbeck)
2:20 p.m. - Mile run (Jacques)
