Mason receives Noon Rotary "Service Above Self Award"
MASON CITY — Former NIACC athletic director Dan Mason was recognized Monday by the Mason City Noon Rotary Club as a winner of the organization's "Service Above Self Award".
The award is the highest given for public service in the community. The Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health was also honored with the same award.
Mason recently retired as the NIACC athletic director, a position he had held since 2006.
