NIACC drops pair to No. 8 Southeastern
WEST BURLINGTON - The NIACC baseball team dropped an ICCAC twinbill to No. 8 Southeastern on Friday.
Southeastern won the opener 6-4 and took the second game 7-0.
NIACC fell to 13-21 overall and 9-8 in the league. Southeastern improve to 29-10, 13-4.
In the first game, NIACC's Alex Berreth was 2 for 4, including a solo home run, and scored two runs. Adam Berghult was 2 for 3, including a double, with two RBIs.
In the second game, NIACC collected 10 hits, but stranded 13 runners on base. Eli Anderson was 3 for 4, Lincoln Berry was 2 for 4 and Brayden Hellum was 2 for 5.
The final game of the 3-game series is set for noon on Saturday.
