Mattison Munger begins her first season as an assistant coach with the NIACC volleyball team in the 2024 season.

Munger, who played volleyball at South Dakota State University from 2015-18, is also a physical therapist at Athletico Physical Therapy in Mason City.

At South Dakota State, Munger was selected to The Summit League all-freshman team in 2015. She was also selected as a distinguished scholar on The Summit League Academic Honor Roll in 2015.

Munger was a three-time Summit League academic honor roll in 2015, 2017 and 2018. She was also a three-time member of the Summit League Commissioner’s list of academic excellence (2015, 2017, 2018).

Munger finished her career at SDSU ranked ninth in career set assists with 2,169.

Also at SDSU, Munger was the Exercise Science student of the year in 2019.
