Cecelia Hemsworth begins her second season as an assistant coach for the NIACC men's and women's track and field teams in the 2024 season.

Hemsworth is also an assistant coach for the NIACC men's and women's cross country teams.

Hemsworth graduated from NIACC in 2020 and graduated from Waldorf University in 2022.

Hemsworth, who is from Mount Pleasant, was a two-time all-region performer in cross country at NIACC. She earned honorable mention NJCAA Region XI honors in 2018 with a 20th place finish at the regional meet. She also earned honorable mention all-region honors in 2019 with a 20th place finish at the regional meet.
