Tyler Brown begins his second season as the hitting and infield coach for the NIACC baseball team in the 2023-24 season.

Coach Brown saw lots of success in year one of working with the offense. The Trojans posted a .304 team batting average with 107 2B's, 92 HR's, and a .544 slugging percentage. Coach Brown also saw five of his position players named to the 2023 ICCAC All-Region team. Adam Berghult was a first team nomination as well as a 3rd Team All-American. Alex Berreth, Bennett McCollow, Eli Anderson, and Will Couchman were all honorable mentions in the conference. 

Brown began his coaching career at Central Christian College where he worked with hitters, infielders and baserunners for two years. He helped the team near program records in home runs, doubles, stolen bases, slugging percentage and runs scored.

Prior to coaching at CCC, Brown played on the team, where he neared a program record in doubles, while winning a Sooner Athletic Conference Gold Glove and graduated with a bachelor of science in business.

Brown has a passion for helping athletes reach their individual goals using data-proven methods to reach peak-performance both on and off the field.

Brown is currently certified in the Driveline Foundations of Hitting and Foundations of Strength. He is also working on his Master of Science in Strategic Leadership.
