NIACC women place 19th at nationals
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The NIACC women's cross country team placed 19th at the NJCAA Division II national meet Saturday with 562 points.
Cowley College was the NJCAA Division II national champion with 66 points. Heartland CC was second with 71 points.
DMACC placed fifth with 162 points and Southeastern CC was ninth with 274 points.
NIACC was led by freshman Juliana Droll, who placed 109th with in a time of 21 minutes, 23 seconds.
Also for the Trojans, Taja Conley was 123rd in a personal-best time of 21:55, Sarah Lunning was 125th (21:58), Hannah Lunning was 148th (22:31), Cloey Usher was 157th (22:38), Skyila Shuryan was 162nd (22:43) and Maggie McBride was 224th (24:30).
