NIACC men lead Scott 5-0

MASON CITY - The NIACC men's soccer team took a 5-0 lead over Scott CC on Saturday afternoon on the NIACC campus when the match was suspended.

The match was stopped with 21:30 left in the first half when the match was suspended due to lightning in the vicinity. The match will be resumed at a later date.

NIACC received three goals from Hugo Garcia-Rosado Duran, one goal from Jordan Rasico and one from Carlos Cuellar.

NIACC returns to action Wednesday in an ICCAC match at Hawkeye CC. Match time in Waterloo is slated for 3:30 p.m.

Hawkeye CC topped NIACC 2-0 in a non-league match on Aug. 30 in Mason City.
