Droll leads NIACC women in season-opening meet
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Freshman Juliana Droll led the NIACC women's cross country team at the season-opening Augustana Twilight Friday night.
Droll placed 200th in a time of 21 minutes, 32 seconds in the five-kilometer race. The Trojans' Sarah Lunning was 249th in a time of 22:26.
Other counting scores for the Trojans, Skyila Shuryan was 288th in a time of 23:10, Hannah Lunning was 300th in 23:38 and Taja Conley was 311th (23:50).
Also for the Trojans in the season-opening meet, Cloey Usher was 320th in 24:16 and Riley DeGonia was 344th (25:55).
NIACC returns to action Sept. 15 on its home course in the Trent Smith Invitational, which is set to start at 5 p.m.
