NIACC women place 4th at Waldorf Fall Invite
ALBERT LEA, Minn. - The NIACC women's golf team shot a 388 and placed fourth Sunday at the Waldorf University Fall Invitational on Sunday at the Wedgewood Golf Course.
Sophomore Alyssa Alert led the Trojans with a 91. Sophomore Kirsten Boerjan shot 96, Sophie Lunning shot 99, Karissa Hoon shot 102 and Emma Weiner shot 110.
"On the women's side, there was a lot of shaking our heads today," NIACC coach Chris Frenz said. "But we'll chalk this one up to experience and we'll attack Rice Lake (Monday)."
NIACC returns to action Monday at the Waldorf University Challenge at the Rice Lake Golf Course in Lake Mills.
