NIACC men place 17th at nationals
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The NIACC men's cross country team placed 17th at the NJCAA Division II national meet Saturday with 485 points.
Paradise Valley was the NJCAA Division II national champion with 68 points and Heartland CC was second with 88 points.
Southeastern was 22nd with 574 points and DMACC was 24th with 648 points.
NIACC was led by freshman Bryson Canton, who was 72nd in a time of 28:44 on the 8-kilometer course.
Also for the Trojans, Breyden Christensen was 99th in 29:21, Alfred Kiptoo was 107th in 29:33, Jacob Vais was 142nd in 30:49, Jackson Chambers was 150th in 30:59, Kason Judisch was 170th in 31:54 and Vlad Starrett was 195th in 33:15.
