NIACC men's cross country team ranked 14th
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's cross country team is ranked 14th in the third NJCAA Division II rankings by the USTFCCCA.
The Trojans were ranked 20th in the Oct. 5 poll and were ranked 13th in the intial poll released on Sept. 21.
Lansing CC (Michigan) is ranked first for the third straight poll. Mesa CC (Ariz.) is ranked second and Paradise Valley CC (Ariz.) is ranked third.
Southeastern is ranked No. 16 and Hawkeye CC is ranked 18th.
NIACC won the Indian Hills Invitational on Oct. 14 with 76 points. No. 20 State Fair CC was second with 81 points, Hawkeye CC and Southeastern tied with 91 points.
Next up for NIACC is the NJCAA Region XI Division II meet on Oct. 30 in Fort Dodge. The Trojans will be seeking their third straight regional championship.
