Bio

Josh Jones begins his first season as an assistant coach for the NIACC baseball team in the summer of 2022.

Jones will work with the infielders, baserunners and work with hitters.

Jones began his playing career at Northwest High School (Wichita, Kan.) where he won multiple all-City and all-State honors in his four-year career.

In the summers, Jones played for Wichita Sluggers Academy.

After graduating from Northwest High School in 2015, he attended Pratt Community College to start his two-year junior college journey as a member of the baseball team. In his sophomore year at Pratt, he was recognized as the Rawlings Gold-Glove recipient in the Jayhawk conference to honor his outstanding defensive abilities.

After his 2 years at Pratt, he continued his playing career at Tabor College, a powerhouse NAIA participant that is a member of the KCAC. Upon graduating from Tabor College, Josh started his coaching career as the graduate assistant baseball coach for the 2021-2022 season at his alma mater Tabor College.

Jones earned his bachelors degree in Sports Management from Tabor College in 2020 and earned his Masters of Business Administration from Tabor in 2022.
